The Lodge

New pictures are here! Check us out on Facebook for news, reviews, and more. Also, our online booking system is linked on the left. See what dates are open and click or call to book your stay! (207) 685-3377.

First built in 1936, the lodge served as a sporting camp for the trout-loving fisherman. Sadly, the building was lost to fire in September of 2013. But a new lodge rises in the same spot, carefully designed to preserve as much of the original character and charm as possible, while incorporating modern improvements to make it an even better vacation experience!

As with the original, the lodge sits less than 100 ft. from the water's edge. As you walk up the steps, you enter a large screened porch overlooking Echo Lake. Several rocking chairs are waiting for you to sit back and relax. A ping pong table offers instant gratification for those of a competitive nature.

Staying at the lodge can be arranged in multiple ways. You can book a room by the night. You can set up an exclusive rental for your family, reunion, or other group. Or, you can arrange for overnight and one-day events of most any kind. See our events page for more details.

If you set up a group rental, the lodge is not shared with guests who rent the cottages, unless you choose to, such as when renting as one of our larger groups. Group rentals require a two-night minimum reservation. One-day events do not include overnight accommodations or linens service.

Please call or send email to set up event or group bookings.

We welcome all types of guests:
